Seal Watching

When coming to visit us on the North Norfolk coast, we know that you will want to visit the Grey Seal colonies. The Grey seals have their young between November and January and can easily be seen on the beaches from Sea Palling to Horsey or Blakeney point which is further up the north Norfolk coast.

Horsey beach is unspoilt and sandy. A bit of a walk from the road where you would park your car, but well worth it. There are steps up to the top of the dunes where you will have a wonderful view of the local grey seal population. In the Winter months you can easily see the grey seal pups. children will love watching this magnificent spectacle in a setting of such natural beauty.

You will also see the seals at Sea Palling beach or if would like to take a trip a bit further north, you could take a boat trip to Blakeney point to watch the seals from the sea.

Seeing these extraordinary animals in their natural environment really is a thrilling and unforgettable experience. Come and stay with us at Boundary Stables holiday accommodation. It is only a short drive away to watch the seals.
